Hopping Back On...
Hello fellow earthlings,
I am here but for the briefest of moments because I want to share some loveliness that I can guarantee will make your day better.
Kate Remington, a dear friend and exceptional broadcaster, has started presenting Sunday Brunch on All Classical Radio. If you are scared that her show is going to be all about deeply serious dead white men, then please let me take this moment to assure you that Kate always puts together the most eclectic, soothing, joyful, inspiring and simply glorious mix of music. (And dead white men have written some bangers over the years, to be fair. Well…when they were alive. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.)
Kate’s voice is akin to lying on a down-filled velvet sofa while you take hearty sips of your favourite tea and a willing admirer gently rubs your feet. (Kate will not rub your feet.) I genuinely look up to her so much as a broadcaster- her knowledge, warmth and enthusiasm are such a gift to us all.
The world is so ruddy hard right now, so please do give this lovely show a listen- it’s honestly the best medicine, and you will pick up some new musical loves along the way.
As for me, (and as for me*), I am on my little journey that I talked about in the post before Christmas. I went to visit the enorma-tree above! It’s over 1,000 years old! Queeny Elizabeth Cate Blanchett The Firsty-kins rested under it in 1558!
More from me soon x
*yes, I am very much continuing to over-identify with doomed minx Sally Bowles.

Slight digression, but I am currently listening to the Ukrainian medievalist (through modular synthesis) composition 'Гільдеґарда (Hildegard)' by Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko and there are passages that remind me of the meditative liturgical aspects of your own work ^^

Is this the tree one near midhurst? If so I have been - and I had a dream about it recently even though it’s years since I went
